The U.S. Census Bureau has redefined a number of census tract boundaries throughout Rhode Island.  Changes may have been requested by the community or necessitated by federal law governing population and housing thresholds.  These adjustments represent changes made to 1990 census tracts in the creation of 2000 census tracts. 
CT = Census Tract
Pawtucket
    C.T. 149 has ceded the entire area to C.T. 152, C.T. 153 has ceded the area west of Rte. 95 to C.T. 160
C.T. 165 has ceded the area east of Pleasant Street to C.T. 166, C.T. 167.97 and C.T. 167.98 have been combined to create C.T. 167.  The area south of Englewood Avenue between School Street and Prospect Street has been ceded to C.T. 171
